The [Type-8 Starfleet Shuttlecraft] is a non-combat space pet, available from the Phoenix Prize Pack. It is also available from the Zen Store for 300 
, and can be found on the Exchange.
Description[]
The Type-8 shuttle is a medium range warp-capable vessel. Small and maneuverable, shuttles are auxiliary craft designed for short range missions.
- This shuttle is unarmed and will dock the moment any combat begins.
Notes[]
- To launch a shuttle pet, place the item in your inventory and right-click to use it. Alternatively, drag the item from Available skills list (default key "P") to your Power tray, from where you can launch it.
- This item cannot be equipped in a device slot
- It cannot be launched from player-controlled Small craft.
- Once unpacked, pet becomes bound to character. You may only own one of these pets at a time, so if you already own one, you will be unable to unpack this item.
Background information[]
- The Type-8 Starfleet Shuttlecraft is also known as the Del Taco Shuttle to some players. It was a limited-edition item available to players who purchased a special drink from Del Taco restaurants in the United States.
- It was also available to those who purchased a Federation vessel from the Zen Store during the sale from May 27-31, 2011.[1] Players were able to activate the shuttle with a key online, which caused it to appear in the in-game Zen Store, under the "Special Unlocks" tab.
- It was also offered as a pre-order item from GameStation.
