The Type II Phaser Compression Pistol (c. 2285) is a type of Ground Weapon with graphics, effects and sound based on the Type II Phaser seen in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
Its primary fire method shoots a bolt of energy at a target. It also has a secondary fire mode that hits a single target with a high damage bolt of energy after a short charging period. These shots have the ability of dealing significant damage if the target is exposed.
Game Description[]
A heavily-modified Type 2 Phaser Compression Pistol. This pistol features a Compression Beam Setting, which can hit a target with a highly focused beam of Phaser energy. Firing either the primary or secondary beam settings of this weapon can trigger the Compression Burst auxiliary setting, causing an additional high-damage burst of Phaser energy to the target, repelling and stunning them for a short time. This weapon has a chance to apply a Phaser Transfer, which reduces your target's damage resistance to increase your own.

The Type II Phaser Compression Pistol (c. 2285) is a Ground Weapon obtained from the Lobi Crystal Consortium for 50 Lobi Crystals per character. It is also available as an account-wide unlock as part of the New Genesis Bundle (7,500).
