The U.S.S. de Witt is a Federation battleship under command of Captain John Hollingsworth.
Missions involved[ | ]
- “Mars, the Bringer of War”: The de Witt helps defend the Alhena System from a Klingon attack force, but is disabled and boarded by the player. After interrogating Captain Hollingsworth, the player returns to their ship and has the option of leaving the ship to fend for itself or scuttling the de Witt.
- “Spin the Wheel”: It is revealed that the de Witt was carrying the prototype Synchronic Proton Distortion Rifle. Starfleet assumed it was destroyed with the ship, but in fact the Klingons had captured it.
Missions formerly involved[ | ]
- “Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning”: The DeWitt helps defend the Alhena System from a Klingon attack force, but is disabled and boarded by the player. After interrogating Captain Hollingsworth, the player returns to their ship and destroys the DeWitt.
Notes[ | ]
- In Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning, the de Witt's class varied between a Federation Battlecruiser, an Armitage-class Escort Carrier, a Chimera Class Heavy Destroyer, a Prometheus-class Escort, and a Multi-Mission Explorer. When the mission was replaced by Mars, the Bringer of War, it was replaced by a Galaxy Dreadnought.
- The de Witt was changed to its proper name with the Season Twenty-one mission update. It is now more apparent that the ship is named for 17th century Dutch politician, Johan de Witt.
