A Universal Console can be placed, as their name suggests, in any tactical, science, or engineering console slot.
However, unlike regular Consoles, multiple restrictions may apply to Universal Consoles, as they often represent abstractions of specific Ship capabilities:
- most Universal Consoles may be slotted only once per Ship
- most Universal Consoles don't have an item level (auto-scaling or level-less)
- most Universal Consoles have a fixed item rarity (now often Epic)
- most Universal Consoles can't be upgraded through the Gear Upgrade System
- many Universal Consoles are restricted to certain specific Ship families, types and/or classes
The lack of a stacking ability of unique Universal Consoles is in some cases compensated with a Set Bonus, by either combining specific Universal Consoles, or specific Universal Consoles with specific Items.
Obtaining
Universal Consoles are not obtainable through random drops, and are deprecated as Mission Rewards. There are currently four sources to obtain Universal Consoles:
- C-Store
- Bundle with Ship: All C-Store Ships include at least one exclusive special item, in most cases a specific Universal Console, associated to the C-Store Ship. Currently there are no separate Universal Consoles available from the C-Store.
- Cost: Zen
- Lobi Store
- Bundle with Ship: All Lobi Ships include at least one exclusive special item, in most cases a specific Universal Console, associated to the Lobi Ship.
- Console Only: Separate Universal Consoles are available at the Lobi Store. Those are part of thematic Space Sets, each consisting of two Starship Weapons, and one Universal Console.
- Cost: Lobi Crystals
- Reputation System (Projects)
- Console Only: Every Reputation System (so far) includes one Universal Console, that is part of a thematic Space Set, consisting of one Energy Weapon, one Projectile Weapon, and one Universal Console. The Universal Consoles become available at Tier 1 of the respective Reputation.
- Cost: Reputation Marks / / / / / / , Dilithium , Energy Credits , Reputation Items / / File:Isomorphic Injection icon.jpg / / File:Iconian datacore icon.jpg

- Console Only: Only Lock Boxes may contain a Console Pack, that will reward an Universal Console. Those are also the only tradeable Universal Consoles in game. Depending on the specific Lock Box, the Console Pack may reward:

The D'Kora is a tough ship on its own, but the Battle Module 3000 lets it show its teeth - and we all know "The bigger the smile, the sharper the knife." The Battle Module 3000 enables your ship with an EMP Burst, which will drain the power from pursuing enemy ships. But that's not all. When fully engaged, the Battle Module 3000 will transform your ship, opening several ports and conduits and improving your weapons and engines. The EMP is disabled, but a Swarm Missile System is revealed.

Game Description
The Phantom Intel Escort comes equipped with a Heavy Phaser Lance universal console. This devastating weapon is capable of delivering a deadly blast of directed energy at a target that bypasses a portion of the target's shields. Additionally, using the lance on a target that has been made Vulnerable by the Phantom's Active Sensor Arrays causes the weapon to deal significantly more damage and completely bypass the target's shields.
This console can be equipped in any console slot on the Phantom Intel Escort. You may only equip one of these consoles at a time.
Heavy Plasma Lance
Grants Ability: Heavy Plasma Lance
The Heavy Plasma Lance is obtained from the Faeht Intel Warbird (C-Store, 3,000 , RRF Tier 6).
This devastating weapon has two firing modes. Normally, it will fire a single heavy plasma beam at its target that causes a devastating plasma fire and renders the target susceptible to Intel starship Expose Vulnerability abilities. However, if the enemy starship is already in a vulnerable state, the beam completely bypasses the target's shield and is even more devastating.
This console can only be equipped on the Faeht Intel Warbird and the Fleet Faeht Intel Warbird, but can be put into any of their console slots. You may only equip one of these consoles.
Indoctrination Nanite Dispersal System
- Disables and infects up to 5 targets in a 3km radius of your target for 5 sec
- Causes all infected targets deal 400.7 Electrical Damage to a nearby ally every 0.5 seconds.

The Indoctrination Nanite Dispersal System is obtained from the Tal Shiar Adapted Battle Cruiser (Lobi Store, 800 , Tier 5-U).
Game Description
The Indoctrination Nanite Dispersal System utilizes adapted Borg technology to deploy advanced nanites to subvert the weapons of an enemy vessel. Once the nanites have taken over the target's weapons system, they will cause the target to fire randomly at their allies, dealing Electrical damage to any nearby friendly units they can target. The enemy vessel will be unable to disable their own weapons during this time, or fire them on targets of their choosing.
Equipping this console at the same time as the [Shrapnel Torpedo Launcher] or the [Tal Shiar Adapted Borg Warp Core] will bestow additional beneficial effects on your ship.
This Console Mod can be equipped on any Tal Shiar Adapted starship, in any console slot. You may only equip one of these mods on any single ship.

The Manheim Device is obtained from any Temporal Destroyer (Lobi Store, 800 , Tier 5-U).
Game Description
This console Based on Dr. Paul Manheim's time-gravity work in the early and mid-24th century. Dr. Paul Manheim's experiments caused ripples in time, called the Manheim Effect
The Manheim Device console can create quantum duplicates of yourself — one from your past and one from your future.
This console mod can only be equipped on a Temporal starship such as Mobius, Krenn, Korath, Wells, Aeon or Rozhenko class. Only one of these console may be equipped on a ship at a time.
The Manheim Device is part of a set. If you have the Manheim Device and the Tipler Cylinder console equipped, activating temporal backstep will cause all nearby foes to freeze in time until the sequence has ended.
Metreon Gas Canisters
The Metreon Gas Canisters are obtained from the Assault Cruiser Refit (C-Store, 2,500 , FED Tier 5-U) or the Console Pack (KDF)/Console Pack (RRF) (Delta Expedition Lock Box, KDF & RRF).
Metreon Gas Canisters vent gas from the Bussard Collectors. This gas can be ignited and used to damage enemy vessels. The resulting explosions can be extremely devastating.
Multidimensional Wave-Function Analysis Module

It is a unique starship console that grants Multi-Vector Assault Mode, and can only be equipped on either the Multi-Vector Advanced Escort, the Mirror Universe Patrol Escort, the Multi-Vector, the original Advanced Escort or the Fleet Advanced Escort.
This item has no stats or bonuses and does nothing other than grant the multi-vector assault mode ability.
Nadeon Detonator
- Upgrades your next torpedo attack. Torpedo explodes in a large Photonic Shockwave.

The Nadeon Detonator is obtained from the Long Range Science Vessel Refit (C-Store, 1,500 , FED Tier 4) or the Console Pack (Dominion Lock Box, KDF). Only one can be equipped per ship.
After the patch on December 20, 2012, the console works with every type of standard torpedo weapon (previously it worked only with photon torpedoes). Specialized torpedos, like the Hargh'peng Torpedo Launcher and the Rapid Reload Transphasic Torpedo Launcher, are unaffected by this console.
Nadion Saturation Bomb

- Fires 6 Nadion Bombs for 2,563.9 phaser damage per bomb (each target can be hit by 1-3 bombs).
- Each bomb creates a Nadion Radiation Field for 10 secs that deals 505.1 Phaser Damage per sec.
The Nadion Saturation Bomb is obtained from the Patrol Escort Refit (C-Store, 2,500 , FED Tier 5). Only one can be equipped per ship.
Firing the Nadion Saturation Bomb lays down a string of explosive fire that strafes between the ship and its target and then continues to detonate past the target. Any enemy ships caught in the explosions will take severe damage. After detonation, an intense Nadion Radiation Field lingers in space, creating a deadly hazard for enemies. The Nadion Saturation Bomb console may be equipped in any console slot of any Patrol Escort.

The Plasmonic Leech enhances all of your energy weapons. Any energy weapon fired will now also drain the target of power and transfer that power back to you. Energy is stolen from all four subsystems.

This unique Console Mod enhances all your energy weapons so they drain power from your target and transfer that power to you. This ability does not need to be activated. It is passive and automatically updates all energy weapons.
The Nausicaans are master pirates, and they have advances their power drain technology originally developed for the Guramba, and converted it into something that had a little more general purpose.

The Resonance Cascade Modulator is obtained from the Blockade Runner Escort (Steam Starter Pack, FED Tier 1). The console can be equipped in any console slot on a ship. Only one can be equipped per ship.
Team Fortress fortifies your shields, as well as the shields of everyone on your team. Normal damage will not bleedthrough your shields. Team Fortress protects your hull from taking any damage as long as your shields are up. Special attacks that have increased shield penetration will still penetrate shields. Team Fortress will also reduces all damage done to shields, so they are much more resilient and much harder to take down.
A player can only be affected by one instance of this power at a time.

This console allows you to separate your ship's saucer and stardrive sections. The saucer will follow you and attack your targets. The stardrive section gains a boost to weapons power and increased speed and maneuverability.
This unique console may be equipped on the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit, Fleet Exploration Cruiser Retrofit, Dreadnought Cruiser, or Fleet Dreadnought Cruiser in any console slot.
Shield Destabalizer
- -70 shield damage to all enemy shields per second.
- Reduces the shield power of affected foes by 15%.
The Shield Destabalizer[sic] is obtained from the Qaw'Dun Bird-of-Prey (C-Store, 750 , KDF Tier 2). Only one can be equipped per ship.

Starships that are affected by these probes will have their shields weakened and damage significantly reduced. In addition, any cloaked foes affected by these probes will be revealed.
This console can only be equipped on the Scryer Intel Science Vessel and the Fleet Scryer Intel Science Vessel, but can be put into any of their console slots. You may only equip one of these consoles.
Structural Integrity Field Siphon

This not only causes significant hull damage to the affected foes, but it also provides your starship with additional hull strength.

Subspace Jumper

The sympathetic Fermion Transceiver may be equipped on any Multi-Mission Science Vessel in any console slot. It is part of the Experimental Systems Set. The 2 piece set bonus grants you Chroniton Integrated Quantum Slip Stream. The 3 piece set bonus grants you a Quantum Focused Shield Bubble.

Game Description
In 2368, Starfleet used a Tachyon Detection Grid as a blockade to stop cloaked Romulan ships from crossing the border into Klingon space and interfering with a Klingon civil war.
The Tachyon Detection Grid Console grants a modest passive bonus to your Starship Sensor Array which scales with level. It also grants an active ability that increases Starship Sensors and Cloak Detection of your ship and nearby ally ships. The grid can extend from the allied ships to reach other allies.

Game Description
This unique Console Mod allows you to vent a large Theta Radiation cloud behind your ship, which causes any hostile ships that pass through it to be slowed. The radiation also drains shields and kills crew.
Theta Radiation is a highly dangerous byproduct of contaminated antimatter waste. Typically, this waste is recycled. Some races, like the Malons of the Delta Quadrant lacked the technology to recycle this waste, and will dump it into space. The Nausicaans have recently learned how to weaponize it.

The Tipler Cylinder is obtained from any Temporal Science Vessel (Temporal Lock Box, Tier 5-U).
Game Description
The Tipler Cylinder console can actually rewind time! The dense beryllium cylinder core of this module rotates at near light speed, allowing your ship to perform a Temporal Backstep and rewind time approximately 13 seconds. Your ship's position reverses, and some of your ship's hull and shield damage is restored. Additionally, the cooldown and recharge times on all your abilities are rewound.
This console mod can only be equipped on a Temporal starship such as Mobius, Krenn, Korath, Wells, Aeon or Rozhenko class. Only one of these consoles may be equipped on a ship at a time.
The Tipler Cylinder is part of a set. If you also have a Manheim Device equipped, activating the Temporal Backstep will cause all nearby foes to freeze until the sequence has ended.
Torpedo Point Defense System

The Torpedo Point Defense System is obtained from the Heavy Escort Carrier (C-Store, 2,500 , Tier 5-U).
It enables the bound ability Torpedo Point Defense System which attacks up to eight enemies within 10 km, firing a salvo of six photon torpedoes for around 1,318 kinetic damage each.
Transwarp Computer

The Transwarp Computer is obtained from the Advanced Heavy Cruiser (C-Store, 1,000 , FED Tier 3). Only one can be equipped per ship. The efficiency scales with player's level.
Game Description
The Transwarp Drive Coil was Starfleet's "great experiment" in the 2280s. This console offers a passive bonus to Starship Warp Core Efficiency Stat which scales with level. The Transwarp Computer also reduces the recharge time of all Transwarp Travel abilities.
This console mod may be equipped on any ship in any console slot.
Weapon Systems Siphon
The Weapon Systems Siphon is obtained from the Qib Intel Battlecruiser (C-Store, 3,000 , KDF Tier 6).
The Qib Intel Battlecruiser comes equipped with a Weapon System Siphon. This devastating device drains the weapon systems of nearby enemy starships and overloads your own. This reduces the damage and accuracy to the affected foes and provides your starship with a boost to damage and accuracy per enemy hit.
This console can only be equipped on the Qib Intel Battlecruiser and the Fleet Qib Intel Battlecruiser, but can be put into any of their console slots. You may only equip one of these consoles.
