The Vaadwaur Astika-class Heavy Battlecruiser is a Tier 6 Battlecruiser which may be flown by characters of any faction. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from the Lobi Crystal Consortium for 900 . The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Vaadwaur Astika Heavy Battlecruiser [T6]].

Battlecruisers of the Astika-class further reinforce focus on offensive force while also being capable of withstanding heavy incoming fire, thanks to their sturdy craftsmanship and many versatile capabilities.

Designed using a combination of the Vaadwaur's 900-year-old martial philosophy and cutting-edge technology derived from the Supremacy's mysterious benefactors, the Astika strikes an unusual, aggressive profile. The Astika packs all its key systems, including weapons, engines, and crew space into its primary hull, with minimal usage of secondary hulls or outboard structures. The sides of the hull house numerous weapon hardpoints, including the infamous Vaadwaur polaron barrage emitters. The deflector is mounted along the forward "nose" area, exposing the minimal amount of necessary surface area to allow functionality.

The bridge is housed inside an armored "tower" structure at the rear of the dorsal hull, where it overlooks the ship's Assault Relays in the spine of the ship. When activated, the assault relays rise up and expose their energy-conducting surfaces to increase the power of outgoing weapons fire. The ventral support buttresses located between the barrage emitters also extend outward when assault relays are active.

The Astika's warp nacelles are concealed inside a pair of armored "wings" located towards the rear of the hull, alongside five large impulse engine ports. Vaadwaur impulse engines emit a bright red exhaust, giving the Astika and other Vaadwaur ships a distinct visual "trail" in local space.

This console is part of the Vaadwaur Artillery Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Polaron Barrage Launcher] obtainable with the Vaadwaur Manasa Assault Escort (T6), but also equippable on the Vaadwaur Astika Heavy Battlecruiser. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.

Equipping both consoles enables the Polaron Cannon Barrage to create five additional secondary targets around player's ship.
