Vaadwaur Prime is a planet in the Vaadwaur System and homeworld of the Vaadwaur. It was heavily bombarded and irradiated by the Turei in the 15th Century, though it can still support humanoid life by 2410.

History

• Vaadwaur Prime was the capital of the Vaadwaur Supremacy until 1484, when a Turei-led coalition bombarded all Vaadwaur worlds to end the Supremacy's threat to the Delta Quadrant. Unknown to them, a number of Vaadwaur placed themseleves in stasis in the hopes of one day reclaiming their former glory.
• In 2376, the U.S.S. Voyager landed on Vaadwaur Prime to hide from pursuing Turei vessels. While there, Seven of Nine awakened the Vaadwaur and unwittingly placed Voyager in danger from the resurgents. When Voyager managed to escape the Vaadwaur fled their dead planet, disappearing to parts unknown.
• By 2410 Vaadwaur Prime is again the center of the reborn Supremacy.

Missions involved

• “Takedown”: The Delta Alliance attempts to capture the planet and end the renewed Vaadwaur threat. After Gaul is defeated, an alien device is discovered in his command center on the planet and is brought aboard the U.S.S. Voyager for analysis.
