Vel'sh Tactician

A Breen Vel'sh Tactician on Defera Prime

Vel'sh is a rank in Breen military's ground forces, equivalent to a Commander. They appear simillar to Ak'cheds in build, but have a white visor and lack the Ak'ched's distinctive head crest.

At least one other Vel'sh specialist type exists: Vel'sh Scientist. However, it is unknown if there is a basic Vel'sh officer without specialization.

Missions encountered

• Breen Front (aka Series 1: The Breen):
  • “Cold Call”: Thot Wen' troops sent to Defera to take possession of Preserver ruins and harass the Deferi include one Vel'sh Tactician and a Vel'sh Scientist, among others.
  • “Out in the Cold”: These Breen officers are also serving Thot Gran who is in charge of a slave-worked mine on Zaria.
  • “Cold Case”: On Raveh II, Breen troops struggle with the Deferi's allies for the Preserver Star Chart.
  • “Cold Storage”: Many Vel'sh Tacticians are part of Thot Trel's elite force trying to take the Preserver Archive on Lae'nas III.
• Q's Winter Wonderland:
  • “Fastest Game On Ice”: The Race Coordinator is the mission giver for the ice track race in the Winter Wonderland.
