The Verne-class Temporal Science Vessel is a Tier 6 Science Vessel which may be flown by Starfleet characters and their allies, excluding Federation-aligned Romulan Republic characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T6 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Temporal Science Vessel [T6]]. The choice box's contents depend on the player's faction; Federation players will receive the Verne Temporal Science Vessel when opening it.
This ship could also be purchased as an account-unlock from the Zen Store as a possible choice from the Mudd's Stealing Time Choice Pack as part of "Mudd's Market", available from May 19, 2020 to August 4, 2020. Like all items in the Market, the Bundle periodically goes on massive discounts (upwards of 60% during special promotional sales).
Overview[]
Verne Temporal Science Vessel is a 29th Century Timeship. As a successor to famous Wells class vessel, Verne follows its steps with a science oriented setup with a few additions inherent to higher tier starships.

SKIN UNLOCK: Wells Temporal Science Vessel, ![]() Looking quite unlike any other Starfleet ship design (barring "alien" vessels such as the Caitian Atrox-class Carrier), the Wells shares many traits with atmospheric aircraft, featuring distinct wing-like projections from the rear hull, a tapered, pointed nose, and aerodynamic profile. The Wells has no easily identified warp nacelles, and its deflector sits in a bulge on the ventral surface of the rear hull. When activating its Temporal Backstep ability, plumes of bright energy erupt from round blisters on the top and bottom of its "wings". |

Abilities[]
Universal consoles[]
The Verne Temporal Science Vessel comes with [Console - Universal - Enhanced Tipler Cylinder], which provides the following ability when equipped:
The ship can also equip other two consoles from the Temporal Fragmentation System Set, allowing use of additional abilities:
Molecular Reconstruction
Temporal Starships are capable of making subtle alterations on the molecular level through the use of Molecular Reconstruction. This technology allows the starship to assume 1 of 3 different Configurations: Offensive, Defensive and Support.
- (+Max Engine Power, +Turn, +Flight Speed, -Incoming Hull Healing)
- (+Max Shield Power, +Incoming Hull Healing, -Turn, -Flight Speed)
- (+Max Auxiliary Power, +Exotic Damage, +Control Strength, -Energy Weapon Damage)
Each of the configurations generates its own specific counter, which is then used to fuel the Molecular Deconstruction Beam.
- (Scaling Physical DoT, Heals Hull, Disable)
Sensor Analysis[]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[]
The Verne-class Temporal Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
Target Weapons Subsystems I
Target Engines Subsystems I
Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Specialization seating
The Verne-class Temporal Science Vessel features the following specialist seats:
Commander Science/Temporal Operative
Lieutenant Commander Science/Temporal Operative
Standard configuration[]
Federation starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Hull strength[]
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1 for the Verne-class Temporal Science Vessel), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
