Xarantine is an M-class planet in the Xarantine System.
Missions involved[]
- “Task Force Hippocrates”: In 2409, the V.S. T'Pau is sent to the Xarantine System to deal with an outbreak of Takanian syndrome on Xarantine. In fact, the ship is carrying equipment for genetic engineering to the planet's research facility. Klingon and Gorn forces are trying to destroy the ship and attack the facility.

Until Season 8.5, the surface of Xarantine was featured in "Task Force Hippocrates". Since then, the ground portion of the mission just takes place within the research facility.
